SnapDraw combines the functionality you would expect to get from a screen capture tool with the functionality you would expect to get from an image editing tool. This means you can use the application to capture whatever is displayed on your screen and then edit the screenshot so that you end up with a good looking image that others are sure to notice.

The SnapDraw installation file is close to 16MB in size. Download and run this file to be presented with a setup wizard that will guide you through all the steps you need to take in order to install the application. You can install it on a PC powered by a 32 or 64-bit edition of Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7.

The captured screenshot or the image loaded into the SnapDraw application is presented in the main pane of the interface. To the left and above there are buttons for accessing all the functions and features the application has to offer. You can change the way the interface looks from the Skins and Canvas menu in the lower right hand corner. By changing the Scheme, you change the overall feel of the application; by changing the Canvas, you change what you see behind the screenshot you’re working on.

The functionality SnapDraw has to offer can be divided into two categories: screen capture functionality and image editing functionality. The application can capture the current desktop, all desktops (applies only to multi-monitor systems), a window, or an object. Configure the Capture Key and you’ll be able to easily access the application’s screen capture functionality by using that hotkey. Once you have your screenshot, you can edit it with the same SnapDraw application. You can add images, text, callouts, shapes, magnifiers, and more.

SnapDraw is offered for the great price of free.

Create appealing screenshots by capturing and editing them with the free SnapDraw application.

Pros
It takes little time to get SnapDraw up and running. There are some samples you can download. The SnapDraw interface is not difficult to figure out. Use the application to take screenshots and to edit them. SnapDraw is a free application.

Cons
None that I could think of.
